Belts

A belt should outlast the trousers you bought it for. Ours are cut in one piece from the same full-grain hides as our shoes — never bonded, never layered from scraps — then edge-painted, burnished by hand and fitted with solid brass hardware. Because the leather is full-grain it will crease along the fold and darken where your hand rests, which is not wear but patina. The old rule still holds: match the belt to the shoe. Black with black, brown with brown, and let the leather do the rest.
