Oxford
The Oxford is defined by its closed lacing: the eyelet facings are stitched beneath the vamp, giving a clean, uninterrupted line from toe to ankle. It is the most formal shoe a man can wear short of an evening pump, and the one every wardrobe should start with. Our Oxfords are cut from full-grain calf and hand-lasted over a leather welt, so the shoe moulds to the foot rather than the other way round. Wear the plain wholecut with a suit; the cap-toe carries equally well with odd trousers and a jacket.
