Derby

Where the Oxford closes, the Derby opens. Its eyelet facings are stitched on top of the vamp, so the shoe flexes wider across the instep – more forgiving for a high arch and a fuller foot, and a touch less formal for it. That openness makes the Derby the most useful shoe in a working wardrobe: dressy enough for the office, relaxed enough for denim on a Saturday. Each pair is built on a full-grain leather upper with a leather lining and sole, welted for resoling rather than glued for landfill.
